'Boruto: Naruto Next Generation' chapter 5 air date, spoilers news 2016: Danger looms over Konoha

Great peril awaits Konoha in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 5. While the ninja village is busy with the Chunin exam, two villains dropped by after sensing Naruto's kyuubi.

Sasuke already suspected that danger is looming over the horizon. When a mysterious scroll arrived in town, he felt that something bad is about to happen. The scroll's message was shrouded in mystery for quite some time as Konoha's experts tirelessly worked to decipher its contents. When Sasuke appeared to have decoded the messages, his anxiety grew and event requested the seventh Hokage to temporarily suspend the exam as they hatch a plan to counter an incoming security threat per BitBag report.

Sasuke seems to have uncovered a devious plot by outsiders whose objective to capture Naruto's nine-tailed fox. As a refresher, the Naruto houses a strong and immensely powerful chakra inside his body. Even when they were younger, the Hokage has been the subject of countless attempts to seize his kyuubi which could be purportedly harnessed into a very destructive weapon.

As Naruto mobilizes the village's defense, it remains unclear whether he will favor Sasuke's recommendation to stop the Chunin exam for security purposes. Meanwhile, the village chief was extremely disappointed over Boruto's unethical conduct in the exam's third phase. Hall of Fame magazine reported that it was unacceptable to Naruto to see his own son breaking one of the laws that he himself enacted.

Apparently, Boruto cheated his way through the exam when he used Kote while fighting. For the uninitiated, Kote is a newly developed weapon created by Konoha's scientists. The device will make it possible for ninjas to execute a ninjutsu technique without exhausting too much life force. But Naruto already argued that such technological innovation would only defeat the purpose of studying and learning the Shinobi arts.

Meanwhile. Hokage appeared to have already suspected Boruto's unauthorized use of the ninja device in phase one. As a result, he wanted to see it for himself and even caught his son red-handed. As Naruto lectures Boruto over the cheating incident, the abovementioned villains came out of nowhere and attacked. The Hokage responded quickly and organized a task force to get them.
