'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' free play trial begins Dec. 15; here's everything gamers should know
Gamers who have not yet played "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" can take this opportunity to play the game for free. Activision announced that the title will have a free play trial for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4).
This weekend will be a treat for both players and non-players of "Call of Duty" as "Infinite Warfare" will be available for free this Thursday, Dec. 15, at exactly 1:00 p.m. ET or 10:00 a.m. PT. All will be able to enjoy the title's three game modes, specifically the Zombies, Multiplayer and the Campaign.
It is good to note, though, that players will have to set aside a significant amount of space for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" to be downloaded into their platform. The title necessitates 60 GB of space, considering that the three game modes are to be installed.
The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" free game trial, of course, will not offer free access to all three modes. Players who choose to take the Campaign mode will only get to play the first two levels, titled as "Rising Threat" and "Black Sky." It will take about 15 minutes to finish each of the level, therefore giving the players a chance to see the game for half an hour.
The Multiplayer mode of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," on the other hand, also has limitations. Players can only experience the game until level 15. This will significantly give them a feel of what the mode is all about as they can see what the title's gameplay is all about.
The Zombies mode has several restrictions such as only playing the game until level 3. However, players will be able to put their skills to the test as they take on enemies in an 80s-themed atmosphere.
All the progress in the three modes will be saved once the players decide to purchase "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." However, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is not on free trial. There is no free trial for the PC version.
