'Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare' PC, patch news and updates: New update tweaks PC version, fixes bugs
Infinity Ward's first-person shooter video game "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" was launched only a few weeks ago on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Just last week, the developers launched a full patch on Steam for the latest title in the series.
According to the patch notes revealed in the Steam Community website, the latest update contained over a thousand bug fixes that had to do with multiplayer issues. The Zombies in Spaceland mode also received notable changes. Some were significant updates, while the rest were small fixes and adjustments. The developers noted that the fixes were based from the gamers' initial feedback.
In addition, the updates made a few tweaks to the PC version of "Infinite Warfare." The patch included additional support for raw mouse input. A restart game warning was also introduced to the "Optimal Video" option. Players will now be notified that the game restarts when the optimal settings are reset.
As for the zombies, the update moved the player splash further to the right when it's off-screen, so it will be hidden when players set the game to Ultra widescreen mode on the PC. Furthermore, weapon names and rarity have been moved to a different positions so that new buttons could be added.
Though it's only been a few weeks since the game's launch, reports say that "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is currently the top game in the U.K. Meanwhile, it is about to surpass "Battlefield 1" to become the top shooter video game of 2016 in the U.K.
Those who have yet to purchase the game may want to take advantage of this year's Black Friday deals as a lot of triple-A titles, including "Infinity Warfare," will be up for grabs at discounted rates.
