"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" update 1.06 is now available for PlayStation (PS4) today. The update comes with several perks and new offers, but here is vital information that every player should know.
Although Activision is yet to disclose the detail of the new patch notes of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," avid players are apparently already seeing the weapon levels on their screen. Aside from this, there is a chance to upgrade the title to the Legacy Edition for a reasonable price of $29.99.
The players took it to Reddit to share what they have seen on their screen. One player named KNOWS_ABOUT_THIS wrote, "After patching there's a new button on the menu to upgrade from the standard edition of Infinite Warfare to the Legacy Edition and obtain Modern Warfare Remastered for 30 dollars."
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, if in case the recent update already carries the holiday-themed content, then the Genesis Holiday Map can be accessed. It could be recalled that Infinity Ward and Activision announced their grand plans with the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and mentioned about the Genesis Holiday map, which comes with a 24/7 playlist to arrive this month.
Today is the start of the Free Trial Event for the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," in which players can have a chance to access the game and see what it offers. However, there are certain restrictions applied to the free trial, though the players' data can be saved and retrieved should they decide to fully purchase the title.
Players who want to access the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Free Trial event will need to free up at least 60 GB of free space. The title's three game modes, Multiplayer, Zombies and Campaign are included in the free trial.
Update 1.06 is also applied to "Modern Warfare Remastered."
