Country music singer Carrie Underwood recently shared a Bible verse via social media to celebrate Easter Sunday as she and husband Mike Fisher celebrate the holiday with their newborn son, Isaiah.

Both Underwood and Fisher took to Instagram to share their joy for the holiday, with Fisher sharing John 11:25-26 that reads: "Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me [...] will never die."

Underwood later shared her husband's holy message while also wishing her followers to have a "Happy Easter."

The country music star and her husband, who plays for the Nashville Raptors NHL team, recently welcomed their first child into the world.

Underwood took to Instagram one month ago to share a photo of her son's tiny hands and feet, saying that he was born on February 27.

Just one week ago, Underwood shared another photo of her son holding a Nashville Raptors hockey stick with the caption: "The Predators are in the playoffs! Just waiting to get called up! #PutMeInCoach."

As Underwood told Country Music Television last year, she and her husband make an effort to celebrate holidays despite their hectic schedules.

"I told [Fisher] recently, 'You know, I'm really tired of skipping holidays. So from this moment on, I think it's just so important, no matter where we are or what we're doing, we have to make it special," the singer said. "And, I think that's going to be our tradition. I hope that my kids, later in life, are going to be like, 'Mom always tried to make that special even if we were someplace crazy or dad was off playing hockey or something like that. She made it special.'"
