In order to get an even more complete line-up that can challenge the top teams in the Eastern Conference, the Chicago Bulls are now linked to two veterans.

According to Inquisitr, the Bulls may invite veterans Stephen Jackson and Kevin Martin.

Jackson has been out of the NBA since the end of the 2013-14 season. He last played for the Los Angeles Clippers where he only played nine games and averaged 1.7 points per game.

However, since joining the league in the 2000–2001 season, Jackson averages 15.1 points in his career while shooting 41 percent from the field. He is also a 33 percent shooter from beyond the arc.

According to Hoops Hype, Jackson revealed that he is in constant contact with Bulls stars Rajon Rondo and Jimmy Butler.

He claims that the two have tried to recruit him to join the team. Jackson is quoted saying: "Well, actually not a lot of people know that Jimmy has been calling me. We've been talking for like three months now. Even [Rajon] Rondo has been calling me, they really want me on the Bulls team."

If that is the case, then this will be Jackson's ninth team in his tenure in the league and should play limited minutes given that he is now 38 years old.

And if the Bulls pick him up, it is going to be likely that he will sign a veteran minimum.

On the other hand, Amico Hoops reported that the Bulls are looking for Kevin Martin to add to their shooting line-up.

Martin is a shooting guard who will battle Butler and Dwyane Wade for playing time, but he provides a threat from beyond the arc that can stretch the defences.

At 33 years old, Martin played his last pro basketball game with the San Antonio Spurs. He only got to play 16 games and averaged 6.2 points per game.

However, he is a career player who averaged 17.4 points per game and shoots 38 percent from beyond the arc.

He is definitely a good pick-up as he can provide solid minutes while the other stars are on the bench.
