Gabby (Monica Raymund) and Antonio  (guest star Jon Seda) welcome their parents to town, while Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) learns some unsettling news on the upcoming episode of NBC's hit drama "Chicago Fire" season 5.

Titled "Lift Each Other," next week's episode will highlight some of the responders' families. According to the official synopsis for episode 7, Gabby and Antonio's parents come to Chicago for their big anniversary. However, the supposedly happy family reunion quickly turns south.

Meanwhile, Chief Boden decides to take matters into his own hands when a deep secret that involves his stepson James (guest star Juan Lozada) comes to the surface. Otis (Joe Minoso) and Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) become competitive at the mud-hundred race, while Casey (Jesse Spencer) does everything he can to save a young boy during a harrowing call to a warehouse.

On another note, an upcoming episode will see Severide come to the rescue of "Rookie Blue" actress Charlotte Sullivan. As noted by TVLine, the actress will serve as a guest star in the NBC drama's fifth season. Sullivan will portray the role of a patient in serious need of a bone marrow transplant. "Towards the end of the winter finale [airing Dec. 6], there's a woman (Sullivan) who is in distress, who Severide is going to make a decision to help out," executive producer Derek Haas hinted.

It was announced last month that Fulvia Vergel and Daniel Zacapa will play Gabby and Antonio's mother and father. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Seda revealed how their arrival will influence the two "Chicago" characters.

"They're [Gabby and Antonio] emotional characters. When it comes to family, they don't play around with that," the actor said. "Their family values are really strong, so when there are some issues that come up, it's going to affect them pretty good."

"Chicago Fire" season 5 airs every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
