'Chicago P.D.' season 4 episode 13 spoilers: Halstead goes undercover to investigate corrupt treatment center for young girls
Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) goes undercover to investigate on a corrupt treatment center on the upcoming episode of "Chicago P.D." season 4.
Titled "I Remember Her Now," the show's next episode will see the team investigate on a sensitive case involving young girls. According to the official synopsis, a 15-year-old girl's body is found crushed in an abandoned building. The team discovers that she died after running away from a treatment center for troubled girls. As the investigation moves forward, Voight (Jason Beghe) sends Halstead to an undercover mission.
He'll work at the center as a guard to gain intel on what's happening to the patients. Halstead eventually finds out that the girls are trading sexual favors for something in return. Back in the headquarters, Platt (Amy Morton) begins to feel guilty when she discovers that the victim was brought into the District last year, and she doesn't even remember her.
In the previous episode, the squad worked on a complicated case involving a female jogger who was murdered. Two suspects were seen at the crime scene, but they managed to hide inside a chapel. Voight and the rest of the team attempted to pursue the criminals, but to their surprise, the church parishioners and priest stopped them from entering.
It turned out that they were protecting the suspects because they believe that the boys were being falsely accused because of their race. Voight managed to convince the priest to let him in and interrogate the boys, but a Molotov cocktail was suddenly thrown inside the church, making the parishioners panic. At the end of the hour, it was revealed that the victim was killed by another person. The boys were released, and they helped Voight reconstruct the damaged parts of the church after the fire.
"Chicago P.D." is currently on a two-week break and will return on Feb. 8 with episode 13.
The fourth season of "Chicago P.D." airs every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
