Christian who works at Planned Parenthood begs for God's forgiveness

A Christian woman who works at Planned Parenthood has recently called into a conservative talk radio show to express her regret and ask if God can forgive her for working at an abortion facility.

The anonymous woman, who has been working in an administrative position at Planned Parenthood, called into Dr. Michael Brown's talk show, "The Line of Fire" on Friday, and discussed some details of her job at the facility.

The caller explained that she opposes abortion, but she took the position because she was a single mother in need of a well-paying job.

She noted that her job does not require her to conduct abortions, but she said she has not experienced the same level of happiness since she started working at the facility and she even stopped going to church because she felt embarrassed to be working at Planned Parenthood.

The woman proceeded to ask Brown whether she would be judged in the same way as people who actually have abortions and whether she is "too far gone to go back."

Brown, a pro-life Christian apologist with a Ph.D. in near eastern languages and literatures from New York University, assured the woman that it is not too late for her to go back, but advised her to immediately quit her job.

"You got no business working there but God is merciful and compassionate and He understands your struggles — a single mom, all the issues you are dealing with. There is forgiveness," the radio host told the caller, noting that she was feeling God's conviction because she is a child of God.

Brown proceeded to tell the woman that her administrative job would be no different from the work performed by people who registered the number of survivors on a ship during the days of the slave trade.

"For sure, the Holy Spirit is not letting you be comfortable. For sure, your own conscience is not letting you be comfortable but don't think for a moment that God's grace is not there," Brown said, according to The Christian Post.

The woman later revealed that she had given her daughter the middle name "Believe," because she had been told that she would never have children.

When Brown asked her to share details of her job at Planned Parenthood, the caller proceeded to describe what was in the back room of the clinic.

"But there is a room in the back that is called a POC room — Products of Conception. It's where things are processed. They refer to it as either tissue or fetus but I saw it for the first time. It's a baby. It's not tissue," she said.

"It's really bad. It is. It's a baby: there's legs, there's arms and there is eyes. It's a baby," she continued.

The caller accused her employer of glorifying abortion by stressing the importance of woman's "right to choose," noting that Planned Parenthood workers only briefly discuss with their patients about other options.

Brown encouraged the caller to start attending church again and hand in her resignation to Planned Parenthood immediately. He assured the woman that people involved in the pro-life ministry will reach up to help her with her immediate needs.

A pro-life ministry called "And Then There Were None" was started by former Planned Parenthood director Abby Johnson to help other abortion clinic workers leave the industry.

Johnson left Planned Parenthood in 2009 after she witnessed a live ultrasound-guided abortion, in which she saw a baby fighting and struggling for its life. Her organization has helped over 217 abortion clinic workers, including six full-time abortionists, to quit the abortion industry.
