Christina Milian News: Undergoes Body Piercing As New E! Reality Show Premieres
Christina Milian is starring on a new TV weekly reality show titled "Christina Milian Turned Up" which premiered on Sunday on E!
The show featured a body piercing segment during which Milian screamed in pain. The show is based on the "AM to PM" singer and her family, and it soon trended on the Internet where her body piercing was an instant hit.
Milian is hoping to resurrect her career, which was halted by the birth of her daughter Violet, by appearing on the reality series. She has also signed on to a label and is currently developing a new sound and a brand-new look for herself. Her last album "So Amazin," which was released in 2006, made it to #11 on the Billboard 200 chart. Since then she has acted in films namely "Pulse" and "Baggage Claim" and made an appearance on "Dancing with the Stars."
Before the premiere of her reality series, Milian promoted it on various TV shows, and hinted during one of her appearances that her relationship with rapper Lil Wayne could be featured on the show. She stated, however, that she wanted to keep the romance portion of her life private. Even though this was her intention, she said she was collaborating with Lil Wayne in the studio as part of her effort to re-launch her singing and songwriting career. She said viewers would definitely hear from her in a musical capacity.
Elaborating on her relationship with Wayne, Milian said they "had really great chemistry off stage in the studio." She said it was "very new and she was experiencing it day by day."
During the premiere episode, Milian's two sisters, Danielle and Lizzy, also turned up. Danielle was having problems with her new marriage and children, while Lizzy was starting off as a chef and converting to Judaism.
Milian's mother, who is also her manager, tried to handle Danielle professionally while also looking after the entire family.
