The Dallas Cowboys are going to be without another superstar in their lineup as it is revealed that Dez Bryant will not be available when they play the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4 on Sunday, Oct. 2.

At the moment, the Cowboys are without starting quarterback Tony Romo and now Dak Prescott is taking over in his absence. However, the Cowboys' offence will now get even weaker as Bryant is unable to join the team.

The receiver himself admitted that he would miss the game as reported by CBS Sports. Bryant is out due to a hairline fracture on his knee after their game against the Chicago Bears.

The Cowboys still won the game and are now 2–1 in the season, good enough for third in the tough National Football Conference (NFC) East but they have won their last two contests.

Bryant also had some controversy following the injury as it was reported that he skipped a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedure and team meeting as he claimed he was afraid of finding out that the injury he has is serious.

The team consequentially reprimanded the star and fined him for his actions. Bryant also admitted the mistake in a Twitter post and took full responsibility.

Now, this injury could mean that Bryant will be out for as long as three weeks, giving him rest days when the Cowboys battle the Niners, Cincinnati Bengals and the Green Bay Packers before a Week 7 bye.

This should be enough time for the Cowboys to get their star receiver ready and give him enough days of practice to get back to full speed within the offence.

With so much going on in the team at the moment, and the emergence of Prescott as a quality quarterback, many agree that Bryant is still the team's most indispensable player.
