'Dance Moms' news: Is Jojo Siwa leaving Abby Lee Dance Company?
The second half of "Dance Moms" season 6 is probably the most dramatic season yet. Abby Lee Miller's apparent lack of interest in her elite dance squad might have led another dancer to leave the show.
Jojo Siwa, a dancer for the Abby Lee Dance Company elite team, and her mother Jessalynn Siwa have reportedly left the group. Jojo hasn't been participating as much in competitions that are set to air in season 7. Hence, fans of the show speculated that the dancer will not be around for the following season.
In the upcoming episode of "Dance Moms," Jojo was assigned to do a ballet routine with Kendall Vertes. In a preview for the episode, Jojo could be heard saying, "I'm literally freaking out."
"I'm not really like the ballet-technique type. My legs and feet, they're good, but they're not perfect. Jazz is really my thing. I have to just work really hard on my technique. I really have to nail it," she added.
Kendall even revealed that she could tell her dance partner wasn't into the routine. In the same episode, Jessalynn told Abby that her daughter will not be participating in the episode. Reports said that Kendall performed the routine with Kalani Hilliker.
In a previous episode of the show, Abby made it clear that she was the boss. She said that the elite squad had been taking her for granted, and that they became too proud to choreograph their own dance routine.
In addition, she said that ALDC is not a democracy. Abby asserted that she ran the show, and if her dancers didn't like how she ran things, it would be the end of the road for them.
Fans can catch a new episode of "Dance Moms" on Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
