'Dance Moms' season 6 spoilers: JoJo Siwa exits show, ALDC?
Lifetime's reality television series, "Dance Moms," may be on a hiatus from its season 6 run, but that does not mean the gusty relationships between the dancers, moms, and the Abby Lee Dance Company's coach, Abby Lee Miller, would also lie low.
The latest controversy has it that JoJo Siwa may no longer be part of the show when it returns and that she, with her mom Jessalynn Siwa, may have upped and left ALDC and "Dance Moms" without so much as a "by your leave."
JoJo's absence in competitions became obvious when image after image of the team posted on the show's spoiler site and social media accounts showed her conspicuous absence. She had been missing time and time again that fans could not help but notice it.
A competition came up two weeks ago and was attended by dancers Nia Frazier, Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, and Brynn Rumfallo. However, JoJo as well as her mom were not in attendance. It could have been put down to some valid reason, but Miller chose to turn attention to it by throwing shade at the young Siwa by pointing out that, while the four other dancers turned up for the event and had done well, in fact, an unnamed performer had only been enjoying her day at a pool.
Miller said in her post, "These girls certainly were not at the pool today!"
This had been on her Instagram account along with a photo of the four girls. Of course, that did not need a neon sign to point out who the truant was.
A short time after that, another reference to Siwa on the show's spoiler site indicated that she was again absent for a competition. Apparently, this was one too many absences for fans not to notice, especially as Jill Vertes, Kendall's mom, also posted a photo showing only four seats in the ALDC dressing room.
Jill captioned the Instagram post, saying "...and there there were 4."
Moreover, the "Dance Moms" Instagram spoiler account put out yet another photo, this time of a pyramid of four cards that showed the ranking of dancers. The dancer's position on the pyramid establishes her ranking based on results of the previous contest as well as whether she is worthy being given an opportunity to perform solo. That there were only four cards shown confirmed JoJo was no longer in the running for the weekly rankings.
Still another photo to add fuel to the fire of speculations is that of Kira Girard and her daughter Kalani, along with the rest of the moms and their daughters while on their flight. The Siwas nonattendance was once again evident.
It is being said that Siwa may have followed in the footsteps of the other ALDC dancers, Maddie Zeigler and her sister Mackenzie as well as Chloe Lukasiak, who previously left the show to pursue careers outside of ALDC and "Dance Moms."
Miller has not issued any announcement on the continued absence of JoJo and Jessalynn. Nor have the Siwas released a statement of their intentions or come out to talk of any possible issues they may have with either ALDC or Miller. Without official word, it looks like fans would just have to wait it out until the show returns in another two weeks and perhaps shed light on the matter.
