'Dance Moms' season 7, episode 6 spoilers: drama escalates as ALDC heightens preparation for the Nationals

"Dance Moms" season 7 promo still featuring the ALDC | Lifetime

With just a few weeks away from the Nationals, pressure is quickly mounting in "Dance Moms" as mentor Abby Lee Miller is trying to push her dancers to the best of their potential in an effort to nab podium finishes. Naturally, in stressful times like this one, a lot of drama is waiting to explode as the team works their hardest to impress Miller.

Spoilers for the upcoming episode of the reality dancing show suggest that the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) is scrambling around trying to perfect a new routine that involves some creepy themes. Brynn Rumfallo nabs the privilege as well as the responsibility to lead the team in a performance inspired by the infamous killer clown sightings that have been prevalent this year. But aside from Brynn, Nia Sioux and Camryn Bridges will also be given platforms to shine in.

Miller taps Nia for a solo act, which is a bit of a big thing given that it will mark the young dancer's first personal performance for the season. Interestingly, however, this pits her directly against newbie Camryn. Fortunately for the "Dance Moms" veteran, she delivers on what was expected of her. However, along with it is the fact highlighting Camryn's lackluster performance that prompts her mom to worry about being kicked out of the team.

Despite the commotion, the ALDC kids fare well in the teen division at Dream Dance Challenge in Panorama City, California, putting them back on track after blowing their winning streak recently. Nia gets a first place finish with her contemporary "How to Get Away with Murder" performance. Camryn did not do bad either finishing just behind Nia with an impressive jazz routine titled "Endangered Species."

"Dance Moms" season 7 episode 6 will air this coming Tuesday, 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime. Aside from the installment's big moments, the offering will also mark the return of Maesi Caes, which certainly adds different dynamics to the team.
