'Dancing with the Stars' season 23 news: Pitbull slammed on social media for comments about Jana Kramer
Rapper/record producer Pitbull returned as a guest on the judges' panel of this week's "Dancing with the Stars" ("DWTS") season 23, in which he angered many fans after making sexually explicit comments about "DWTS" contestant Jana Kramer.
The "Give Me Everything" singer was a guest on the ABC reality competition's Latin Night episode on Monday, Oct. 17. The Grammy winner started off in fine form, opening the show with a performance of his song "Greenlight" with fellow rappers Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis. But during his stint on the judges' table, Pitbull got a little carried away, particularly after contestant Jana Kramer and dancing pro Gleb Savchenko's performance.
Jana and Gleb did a hot Argentine tango to the Selena Gomez song "Hands to Myself." It began in a bed covered in silk sheets and ended with a steamy and all-wet shower scene, which received a perfect score from the judges.
"It's getting hot in here right now," Pitbull said, taking off his jacket. He then started caressing the female judges' shoulders, saying he couldn't keep his hands to himself. Then, he called out to the country music artist, telling her, "If you want, you can go ahead and throw that dress over."
"If you need a cold shower it's still available," host Tom Bergeron told the rapper.
Many on social media were not amused by Pitbull's antics on "Dancing with the Stars." Shortly after the episode was broadcast, the "I Know You Want Me" singer came under fire for his remarks to Jana.
"Wow. @DancingABC Can we maybe never have Pitbull back?" a viewer tweeted. "Talk about disrespect with that dress comment. Ugh," the post read.
Another one wrote: "Pitbull went too far with his comment about Jana's dress. So uncomfortable."
"So are we just going to ignore Pitbull's disgustingly chauvinistic comments towards Jana Kramer?" another "DWTS" viewer asked. "[Because] we really shouldn't. Just disgusting," the viewer continued.
Meanwhile, model/actress Amber Rose and her professional dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were eliminated this week.
"Dancing with the Stars" season 23 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
