'Destiny: House of Wolves' Release Date on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One: New Weapon Upgrades and Queen's Bay

Recently a Twitch livestream event for the second expansion pack in "Destiny" took place and a lot of new cool stuff was revealed.

The pack titled "House of Wolves" is due to land on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on May 19^.

Among the interesting details that came out was that weapons and armor can now be pushed to the highest upgrade level using the "Ascend" option.

The livestream event also shed light on the Queen's Bay an area where players can meet up with non-playable characters and buy or trade weapons.

Using the Ascend option, players will be able to bring their weapons up to 365 Attack level. In the case of armor the option will cause it to rise up to max light value. In "House of Wolves" players can keep any weapon or armor upgrades they have.

Players will also be able to use Etheric Light to upgrade Legendary weapons and armor while Exotic weapons will need Exotic Shards for upgrading. There is also going to be a Reforge feature for players with more experience in the game. This will allow them to retool their weapons until they get the version they want.

Coming to "The Reef," there's going to be a new social area called "Queen's Bay" with three new characters. Petra Venj is one and she serves the Queen, who has been betrayed by the House of Wolves faction in the Fallen.

Players will be able to rank better if they complete the bounties offered by Petra. They will also get improved armor and ships.

Coming to Variks, he is the warden in a battle arena mode called the "Prison of Elders." Once the mode is traversed, players can get new gear from him.

As for Brother Vance, he will be featured in the new "Trials of Osiris" competitive mode which is set to run every week from Friday until Tuesday. Through him players will get the opportunity to earn supplies and gear.
