Some details in regard to the recent one-year contract signed by Christian athlete Tim Tebow with the Philadelphia Eagles NFL team have been released.

The contract details reportedly indicate that the former NFL quarterback signed a standard $660,000 contract with no signing bonus or other extra money guarantees.

After playing with the Broncos,Tebow moved on to play for the New York Jets, as well as playing in the offseason for the New England Patriots before being dropped ahead of the 2013 season. He then worked as an analyst for ESPN's SEC network, but always indicated to reporters that he wanted to continue playing as a professional athlete in the NFL.

Tebow made his interest in continuing with an NFL career known to an Associated Press reporter in a previous interview, saying that he still believes he is in good enough shape to play professional football.

"I feel like I'm the best that I've ever been as a quarterback right now," Tebow told the Associated Press in a previous interview. "I hope I get the opportunity to show that. But I'm also looking forward to being part of 'SEC Nation' and part of ESPN."
