'Devious Maids' season 4 episode 9 spoilers: Will Peri's killer be revealed before current season comes to a close?

Rosie is still hot on the trail of Peri's murderer, but it looks like the killer's identity could be revealed before the season ends.

The last episode saw Evelyn (Rebecca Wisocky) and Adrian (Tom Irwin) splitting their house a la "his side/her side," but Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez) got caught in the middle. She also got into hot water when Adrian learned that Evelyn still managed to get inside the mansion after he updated the security features because Carmen took jewelry from Evelyn in exchange for access into the home.

Adrian fired Carmen, who in turn was taken in by Evelyn to clean her side of the house. However, Adrian makes the ultimate announcement when he revealed to Carmen that he just hired her daughter Dani (Sol Rodriguez) to be his hired help.

Meanwhile, Rosie (Dania Ramirez) revealed to Carmen that Spence (Grant Show) isn't the biological father of Tucker (Carter Birchwell), something that was discovered when a blood test was administered at the hospital. Rosie went on to tell Carmen what she thought – that Tucker's real father is the one who killed Peri (Mariana Klaveno).

Later on, Rosie learned from Peri's sister, Shannon (Katherine LaNasa), that Peri was raped by someone in the film industry and subsequently got pregnant with Tucker. The episode further went on to hint that Peter (James Denton), Marisol's (Ana Ortiz) movie executive boyfriend, could be the killer after his dark side was revealed.

In the upcoming episode titled "Much Ado about Buffing," Rosie will try to tell Spence that she's not giving up hope in proving his innocence. It also looks like Dani would finally warm up to Carmen, but there's no telling if her motives are pure.

"Marisol will end up learning a secret from Genevieve's past that may provide a clue to finding Peri's killer. Zoila is going to struggle to balance her love life and her demanding new boss, while also helping Rosie investigate The Circle," read the official synopsis for said episode.
