'Dragon Ball Super' episode 49 spoilers: Goku finally meets Black Goku; evil twin too powerful for hero?
The Future Trunks arc continues in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 49. This upcoming episode titled, "A Message from the Future! Black Goku invades!" could be the most exciting one yet.
Future Trunks attacks Goku after waking up from his much-needed doze, thinking he was Black Goku. When "Dragon Ball Super" returns, he will finally fill everyone in on the details on why he is back in the present.
Goku will learn in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 49 that the future is being terrorized by someone who looks like him. He has no idea if they have matching power too.
The promo for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 49 teases that Black Goku was able to track the current timeline and location of Future Trunks. He gets ready to follow him and finish their fight once and for all.
The clip teases that he will indeed find his way to the present, which means that Goku will finally lay his eyes on his evil doppelganger in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 49.
It is a mystery if Black Goku knows about the existence of Goku, but the latter clearly wasn't aware of the former until Future Trunks arrived.
Since Black Goku is now in the same timeline as Goku and the rest, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 49 could stage the beginning an epic battle between the look-alikes with Future Trunks and Vegeta helping out.
It might also shed light on their resemblance and the illogical desire of Black Goku to end the Saiyan race, even though he himself is one, at least at the outset.
Up to now, there are no details regarding who Black Goku really is and where he comes from. However, he is already proving himself to be the strongest and evilest adversary the heroes have ever faced.
