'Dragon Ball Super' episode 64 spoilers: A new threat emerges as Black Goku and Zamasu become Merged Zamasu
After this week's episode concluded with the time machine and the Mafuba jar destroyed, will the Saiyans still have a chance to defeat Black Goku and Future Zamasu in order to save the future?
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 64 titled "Praise and Adore Him! The Explosive Birth of Merged ZAMASU!!" will finally see the merging of the two powerful forces of Black Goku and Future Zamasu as the Saiyans gain ground against them. Just as Trunks said in episode 63, immortality does not automatically equate to limitless stamina. Since the Saiyans have Senzu beans to help them recover faster whenever their energy is depleted, the two Zamasus only have their strength to rely on.
And true enough, the enemies' energy has indeed been gradually running out. A source speculated that the fusion between Black Goku and Zamasu will happen with the help of the green Potara earrings that the two are wearing, and will thus lead to a much stronger opponent for the Saiyan warriors.
The episode preview showed that the intense battle between Goku, Vegeta, Zamasu and Black Goku will continue as Bulma works on fixing the time machine and Trunks takes huge efforts in gluing together the broken pieces of the Mafuba jar.
Owing to the separate training they went through in the present timeline, both Goku and Vegeta will continue to display immense amounts of their powers as they buy more time for both the jar and the time machine to be fixed. But will Trunks really be able to finish his task in time for Goku to seal the immortal Black Goku into the Mafuba jar? Do the Saiyans still have enough Senzu beans to last through the battle especially after their enemies merge together to form a new embodiment of evil?
The episode preview also seemed to hint on Mai and Bulma getting in trouble. Will the Saiyans be forever trapped in the future timeline? Or will the gods finally step in to lend them a hand?
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 64 airs on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 9 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.
