Buu won against Basil even though he took their fight as a joke. Meanwhile, Gohan will be taking part in the next battle, in which he might lose his sense of sight due to a sneaky Universe 9 opponent.

In episode 79 of "Dragon Ball Super," Majin Buu went up against Basil from Universe 9. Buu was teased by Basil of being too weak, but Kaioshin could see that the Universe 7 fighter was taking the hits lightly.

Buu starts to have fun with Basil by calling him fun, but Basil found this as an insult. In one of Basil's attacks, Mr. Satan gets hurt, which makes Buu serious about his fight against the Universe 9 warrior and wins due to the ring-out rule.

But the Omni-Kings want Buu and Basil to fight some more, so the Great Priest announces that they will fight as until one side accepts defeat. With this, Basil gives his strongest move against Buu, but after Buu survives this hit, the Great Priest announces him as the winner of the first round.

In episode 80 of "Dragon Ball Super," titled "Awaken the Dormant Fighting Spirit! Son Gohan's Battle!" Gohan will be fighting in the second round against Lavenda from Universe 9.

As seen from the episode 80 promo, Goku warns his son to stay alert because Lavenda looks like a tricky opponent. Gohan will try to prove his strength and power to his father in this fight, which makes him lose his focus.

According to Todd Blankenship's translation on Twitter of a preview, Gohan will lose his sight because Lavenda will spray poison mist on his face. This might cost Gohan and Universe 7 the win in the second round.

However, there are speculations that Gohan will be successful in his match against Lavenda because, in the episode 80 preview, Gohan can be seen fighting with Bergamo, which might indicate that Gohan will face a new opponent in another round.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 80 will air on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 9 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.
