'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: episode 74 teases Pan in danger and Gohan to the rescue
As fans wait for the airing of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73, which will not arrive until next year, they can get by the long wait by getting a load of the new details on episode 74.
It turns out that the former will not be the final episode the Great Saiyanman will appear. More importantly, it looks like Pan will also be joining the fray this time.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 74 is titled "For Those He Loves! The Indomitable Great Saiyanman!" Here, Gohan, still donning the superhero costume, takes on the baddie.
The synopsis for the installment provided by the ever-reliable "Dragon Ball" tipster Todd Blankenship is as follows:
"The vile criminal Watagash commits evil on Earth! Gohan hears that Earth has been infiltrated by the mental parasite Watagash who infects the darkness in his host's heart, giving them superhuman power. Meanwhile, Barry Karn hates Gohan and tries to catch him with a honeypot trap but fails. Watagash then appears and infects him."
It turns out that Watagash will choose Pan as his target. He kidnaps her, leading everyone to be anxious about her safety. Interestingly, the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 74 synopsis teases that there is nothing to worry about.
"Despite Gohan and company's worries, Pan herself is more than fine...?!" the synopsis muses, suggesting that Pan might have greater control of the situation than the others anticipated.
It will be interesting to see how it turns out, but before all that, fans will first be treated with "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73, in which Gohan gets a shot at fame.
Gohan will take a break from studying to be a stunt double for a movie focused on the Great Saiyanman. The stunt involves going head to head with none other than Mister Satan.
"Dragon Ball Super" will be back with episode 73, "Gohan's Disaster! Great Saiyanman's Unbelievable Movie Adaptation?!" on Sunday, Jan. 8.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 74, "For Those He Loves! The Indomitable Great Saiyanman!" airs Sunday, Jan. 15.
