'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' DLC release date, news, update: Goku's Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken form to be added to next update
A new DLC update for Bandai Namco's latest fighting video game sequel "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is rumored to be released in the coming weeks. The next content update is something that the fans of the "Dragon Ball" series have been wanting to see since the game was first released earlier this month.
As reported in the DB-Z.com website, the next update for "Dragon Ball Super" will be rolling out soon. The most interesting part of the announcement from Bandai Namco is the inclusion of the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken form of Son Goku in the current roster. To recall, this special Super Saiyan form of Goku was featured for the first time in "Dragon Ball Super" when he was fighting the assassin named Hit from Universe 6.
Furthermore, the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken Son Goku has the ability to counter the time skip attacks of Hit. Even though Hit can see the future attacks of his opponents within seconds, the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken is proven to be an efficient counterattack.
The ultimate attack of Hit will also be included alongside Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken Goku in the roster, which will make the fans remember the epic battle of two powerful warriors in the Universe 6 versus Universe 7 tournament in "Dragon Ball Super."
As reported by Yibada, there will also be new instructors included in the next DLC update. These are the popular "Dragon Ball" characters such as Future Gohan, Cooler, Android 16, Bardock and Whis. The players will also be able to make us of 24 new set of techniques. There will also be a new storyline involving Frieza in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2". Specifically, the players will know more about the infamous villain, and they will also be able to access 10 new outfits for Frieza and a new Frieza Army Raid.
Attack of the Fanboy reported that these recent "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" update came from the latest V-jump magazine scans, and the official details will be released by Bandai Namco US and Europe in the coming weeks.
