Bandai Namco recently announced a new raid request for the loyal gamers of the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," and this time around, players will be taking on an Evil Yamcha as a villain.

As reported by Attack of the Fanboy, the UK Facebook page of the game posted an announcement stating that the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" Raid Quest will be available on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. CET until Sunday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. CET. Despite the lack of a US release date, North American fans can expect the raid to come out around the same time.

Participants of the upcoming Raid Quest will be receiving a Hercule badge just for participating, and they will go up against a supervillain version of Yamcha. Should players defeat Yamcha at level 99, they will get 50 TP medals. If a player is a part of the 6-player team that would deal the final blow, additional 100 TP medals will also be awarded.

There are also extra rewards featured in the upcoming quest such as Yamcha's Baseball Uniform Set (for 2000 damage done); Nickname [Everybody's] (for 5000 damage done); Universe 6 S. Kai's Helper's Hat and 20 TP medals (for 50,000 damage done); and Turtle School (for 100,000 damage done).

Considering that Yamcha is one of the weakest characters in Dragon Ball, fans may wonder why his evil counterpart is the boss for the upcoming quest in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." However, according to The Bitbag, aside from being a fan favorite in the game, the move to make him a villain boss was done to boost the character's popularity.

Yamcha's character was heavily highlighted during the 70th episode of "Dragon Ball Super," which is deemed as one of the funniest episodes in the new series. A new manga will also be arriving soon in which a Dragon Ball fan dies and gets reincarnated as Yamcha.

The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" Raid Quest will launch this weekend. The game is now available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
