'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' release date, news and updates: New patch updates the game's sync and loading
Bandai Namco just recently launched the sequel to the hit game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse," and the fans' reception has been nothing but positive. A new patch has been released for the game (Patch 1.02) for all platorms and it's said to add a few improvements to the overall "DBX 2" experience.
The patch isn't really that large and it's reported that the developers will make adjustments in the game's syncing and loading. For one, the patch will improve on the game's loading screen. With the titles that are coming out today, modern gamers are a bit iffy when it comes to loading screens; so developers have hopped to it to make sure that there will be less waiting in the game.
Though no major changes have come with the pack, fans should expect the developers to add more things in the future.
The "Dragon Ball" universe has become so massive and it has recently just started expanding again with the ongoing episodes of "Dragon Ball Super." Aside from classic villains like Frieza and Piccolo, the game also includes newer characters like Goku Black and Zamasu. It was also recently revealed that the assassin Hit was going to be part of the game.
As of now, the game has been receiving sparkling reviews from the community, and fans are happy with the open world and freedom to customize their characters. Though "DBZ" characters are known to be able to fly, the capital city of Canton forbids it, so players will have to ride vehicles to get around.
The "Dragon Ball" fighting genre has greatly evolved since its early days in "Dragon Ball Budokai" for the PS2. With the positive reception from fans, Bandai will be happy to know that they are moving the franchise in the right direction.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is now available for all platforms.
