Duggar family latest news: Duggars share photo of 20th child while asking for privacy
The Duggar family from "19 Kids and Counting" recently and quietly welcomed an addition of another child into their home and into their large family.
Christian couple Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were awarded guardianship of an 8-year-old boy named Tyler. According to Inquisitr, the young child is an extended family member of Michelle Duggar who has lived with the family since around August of last year. The Duggar couple were not given permanent guardianship until Nov. 21, 2016.
The Duggar Family usually rotates individual photos of their children when posting on their social media accounts. Before the new year, Tyler only appeared in group photographs. However, in 2017, the newest and 20th child of the family may now have been added to the individual photograph rotation.
As if quietly announcing his official inclusion to the family roster, a photo of young Tyler drinking milk from a jug was posted on the family's official Facebook page last Jan. 4. The post led fans asking many questions about Tyler and his current standing in the family, but the family chose not respond and only wished for some privacy concerning the child at present time.
In an announcement published on the family's official blog, the family introduces Tyler as an extended family member from Michelle's side. The Duggars chose not to reveal the details of the situation that led to their guardianship over Tyler, asking fans to respect the family's wishes. If and when the family decides to share more details about Tyler with the public, fans are advised to await updates on their blog.
Although the Duggars refuse to openly discuss the guardianship proceedings, the records are public and have been previously covered by several media outlets. According to various reports, Tyler is the son of Michelle's niece who was no longer capable of caring for her son after her incarceration and because of her homelessness.
