The "Elder Scrolls Online" game is set for a June 9 launching on PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The announcement was made via the Elder Scrolls Online blog.

The game was earlier made available free-to-play last March 17. This means new gamers need not pay subscription fees for the title.

Update 6 of "Elder Scrolls Online" includes a Collection feature, which will allow gamers to organize their mounts, pets and costumes. This popular Xbox One and PlayStation 4 game will also include murder and thievery in Update 6 gameplay. Developer Matt Firor also disclosed that gameplay voice chats for the Xbox One and PS4 will be improved and fully integrated for compatibility with Xbox Live and PS Networks.

It should be noted though that when the "Elder Scrolls Online" was initially released, it received rather lukewarm reception. Almost a year later, a lot of the issues on its PC edition haven't really been fixed.

Will the console version of the "Elder Scrolls Online" address some of the player's complaints? What exactly were the issues raised? These were the questions on the gamers' minds.

At launch, the game was full of bugs and glitches. There were very long loading times, in and out of battles and multiple crashes. There were even broken quests and duping glitches. In general, ZeniMax Studios couldn't make their version of the world of Tamriel live up to the name Bethesda established for the franchise.

There were also a lot of cash grabs. Horses were tremendously expensive if bought with in-game money, so it appeared more like a tactic for players. Rather than doubling the amount of time it took to wander around this world on foot, gamers would be tempted to purchase a horse rather that attempt to play for hours to pay for one.

These issues have been fixed by ZeniMax. With the game becoming free to play, $15 can be saved for content within the world or maybe another game. This is expected to be retained for the PS4 and Xbox One.

There are expectations that the release to Xbox One and PS4 will be relatively glitch-free.
