Rap artist Eminem is working on the reissue of his album from the year 1999 titled "Slim Shady LP," this time, on cassette. This has sparked rumors that the relaunch will be a nod to making new music although it cannot be declared for certain that he will be releasing a new album anytime soon.

There has not been any official announcement on when fans will finally get hold of Eminem's new album. Neither have there been any clear indications from the rap guru if he is even actually working on a new album nor has he conveyed any intentions of making new music at the moment. Yet speculations about his supposed new album and even its release date continue to abound on the web. Fans even offer suggestions for the album title.

Meanwhile, Eminem himself announced a few months back via a post on his official Facebook page that there will be a re-release of "Slim Shady LP" on cassette. He even included a link to the official Shady Records website wherein the advertisement of the reissue can be viewed.

After having been noticeably quiet following his contributions to the "Southpaw" soundtrack, Eminem has lately been causing a stir on the web as he has been posting annotations of his songs' lyrics, jokes and random thoughts on Genius.

Eminem also recently posted an Instagram photo which fans will likely recognize. It is of an old house whose door is spray painted with the numbers 19946, the address of the rapper's childhood home. It can be remembered that the same house was used as background for the cover photo of his 2013 album, "The Marshall Mathers LP."

Although this Instagram post is another reason for Eminem followers to believe that there will be a new album at hand, nothing is quite sure for now.
