'Fairy Tail' chapter 503 spoilers: Dimaria taunts Lucy, inadvertently awakens E.N.D.

It seems that the Fairy Tail guild has regained a new ally in Brandish, but may have just lost Natsu in the process.

"Fairy Tail" chapter 503 titled "The Last Sight I Beheld," opened with Lucy's realization that she could not use her power owing to the fact that they were inside a prison cell constructed with the magic-sealing stones of Ishgar.

Dimaria then blamed her for breaking Brandish, pulled off her bra, and threatened to gouge her eyes out. But Lucy bravely told the Spriggan 12 elite that it wouldn't matter if she had no sight because she already sealed all the important memories on her mind and would always remember them. Enraged by the celestial mage's fearless reaction to her threats, Dimaria was about to stab Lucy's eye with her dagger when something off-frame happened.

Lucy subsequently woke up on the floor with blood in her face but with her eyesight thankfully still okay. The chair she was bound to broke into pieces, much like the wreck that was Dimaria sprawled out on the other side of the cell. The fallen adversary was mumbling about a monster that could move freely within her time magic.

Porlyusica arrived at that moment with Happy, Brandish and Evergreen. Brandish told Lucy to restrain Dimaria before she could regain enough strength to use her time magic on them.

Porlyusica then explained what she thought Natsu's tumor really was. It wasn't a malignant Anti-Ethemano as was previously believed but was instead something more sinister. When Brandish grew it back to its former size, it awakened something akin to a demonic force inside Natsu.

Natsu was then shown making his way to the guild hall in search of Zeref. He met Gray along the way, hinting on a possibly violent and tragic clash between the two friends. It was a match that Zeref had been orchestrating all this time and now it's about to happen.

Gray just recently found out that Natsu was E.N.D. But is Natsu's transformation really complete or can Gray still do something to stop it?

According to Yibada, the next chapter of "Fairy Tail" is titled "Rift." This may be a reference to the ensuing fight between Gray and Natsu which could end their friendship for good. However, CSN speculated that Lucy may just come in time to save Natsu from himself.
