'Fairy Tail' chapter 509 spoilers: Kagura takes on Zeref's son; Rahkeid and Zeref's backstory to be revealed?
Makarov's Fairy Law has found its match in an enemy's counterattack that was based on pleasure and eventual agony. How will the Fairy Tail guild face such an adversary with the ability to cause mass damage by focusing his attack on those who oppose their will?
Rahkeid has finally shown himself to be a formidable foe. He wields an unexpectedly light-based power that negatively affects both allies and enemies with equal intensity. On top of everything else, he has also revealed himself to be the son of Zeref. How will this affect Natsu's interaction with him later on in the story? Does Rahkeid know who Natsu is and the E.N.D. that he harbors inside himself?
"Fairy Tail" chapter 509 titled "Kagura vs Rahkeid" is pretty telling of what's about to happen next. The strongest mage from the Mermaid Heel Guild will take on the son of their greatest enemy with her sword-based offense, but will she really be able to match Rahkeid's powers and save her friends from getting their souls lifted from their bodies? She doesn't seem to be affected by Rahkeid's magic, which apparently can be felt only by those who have already experienced the forbidden pleasures of life.
How will this type of magic affect the rest of the Fairy Tail guild, especially Natsu and Gray who have yet to recover from their intense fight and get back into the battlefield?
One other issue that's been left hanging is the connection between Erza and Irene. Erza is determined to know the truth and is ready to fight Irene for it. Will their equally intense battle also be featured in the upcoming chapter?
The chapter may also reveal Rahkeid's back story and how he became Zeref's son. It could also show an unexpected side to "Fairy Tail's" current main villain. It is speculated that the upcoming chapters may see the possible teaming up of wizards to bring Zeref's son down.
"Fairy Tail" chapter 509 will be released on issue #49 of the "Weekly Shounen Jump: magazine comes out on Monday, Nov. 7.
