'Fallout 4' Mods release date, news and updates: Players will be able to play mods on the console; Donald Trump mod created for game
For a while, only PC gamers have been able to enjoy mods on their games, but Bethesda has just recently announced that the Playstation 4 version of "Fallout 4" will also be able to support mods.
According to reports, Sony has just recently allowed mod support on "Fallout 4" for the PS4. The setback, however, is that players aren't allowed to use third party apps to develop mods for the game. Instead, Bethesda has added a creation kit with the latest update to let players customize the game personally.
That may be a setback since creating high-quality mods is a task that requires an amount of skill that not every average player simply has. Gamers will just have to wait if ever they will be able to get more personalized mods online.
Speaking of mods, one interesting mod puts US president-elect Donald Trump as a companion in the game, and he will need the player to complete one mission — the assassination of Hillary Clinton.
According to MxR Mods on Youtube, Trump will hire the player to work for him, and the price for succeeding in the mission will be exactly $8,737,540,000. Of course, real money has no value in the Wasteland, but players will get a kick out of the downloadable content nonetheless.
Aside from the entirely empty rally that Trump has gathered, he is also wearing a hat which says, "Make the Commonwealth Great Again," and all of his dialogue seems to be ripped off actual speeches from President-elect Trump himself.
Assassinating Hillary in the mission is no easy feat either. Players who choose to attack her with melee weapons will realize that she herself is loaded, and she will also also surrounded by supporters who are armed as well. If the player will choose to assassinate her from afar, they will see that her body has a note which has her made-up e-mail address and password (User: hillary4president@nuka-mail.us, Password: billyboy2016).
Though mods are limited in the consoles, Bethesda has provided players with a full list of available mods for the console gamers.
