"Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" is yet to arrive in mid-2017 but everyone is already going gaga over it. The title's gameplay has already been in the news for quite some time, and even the game's Collector's Edition is being talked about.

Square Enix has just made the fans of "Final Fantasy" happy with their announcement that "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" will come out on June 20, 2017. According to Gematsu, a simultaneous debut will happen in Japan, Europe and North America.

It could be remembered that "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" was announced back in October, but Square Enix failed to mention when the title will come out. It was at the "Final Fantasy XIV" Fan Festival in Tokyo that the studio confirmed the release date.

As for the Collector's Edition, several items are included in the pack such as a Wind-up Bartz Minion, Original decal, Stormblood art book, a Zenos figure, the cloth map of Eorzea, Syldra Mount, Red Mage Main Arm: Chicken Knife and a special package that features the original art of Yoshitaka Amano.

Aside from these are new modes and swimming controls added, but there is a diving control available as an alternative. Other inclusions are two new raids, a new beast tribe called The Ananta, new gathering place, among others.

"Final Fantasy XIV" also gets a new patch that will be released on Jan. 17, 2017. The patch 3.5 has a crossover equipment from GARO, which is a hit TV franchise in Japan. The partnership of GARO and "FFXIV" has led to some players wondering what possible changes would be seen in the gameplay once it comes out.

Several reports note that the collaboration brings new dynamics to the title. Players will also get to see the armors of the four Makai Knights in the update. This is aside from the skins of the two Makai Priests, Kiba armor, Dan armor, Garo armor and more.
