The Nintendo Switch has been gaining popularity since it was released several weeks ago, and today's top game studios have been announcing that their latest game titles will have a special Nintendo Switch version soon. For now, there is a growing possibility that the upcoming video game from Square Enix, "Final Fantasy XV," will be ported to the new Nintendo gaming console in the coming months.

As reported by Techno Buffalo, "Final Fantasy" game director Hajime Tabata gave positive remarks regarding the new Nintendo Switch, expressing his interest that the upcoming "Final Fantasy" installment this November 29 will also be ported to the latest console. He took notice of Nintendo Switch's impressive features, although he gave no guarantee that a Nintendo Switch version for "Final Fantasy XV" will happen soon. Likewise, there are other rumors that the game will also be made playable in the updated console versions such as PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One S, not to mention the much-awaited PC platform version of "Final Fantasy XV."

On the other hand, it is reported that a known character in the "Final Fantasy" series will be made playable through a DLC update in the yet-to-be-released video game. Dualshockers noted "Final Fantasy" game producer Haruyoshi Sawatari saying that Noctis' love interest, Lunafreya Nox Flueret, or Luna, might be added to the game as the first DLC character.

Haruyoshi also stated that the possibility of Luna being included in the future DLCs for "Final Fantasy XV" depends on the fans' reception and the collective decision among the game developers. At Paris Games Week, the "Final Fantasy XV" team revealed their plans for DLC, even though the game itself has yet to be released worldwide. It was revealed that a major DLC titled "Comrade" will include co-op multiplayer gameplay, iDigital Times reported.

Three other major DLC packs can be expected that will allow the fans to play the role Gladiolus, Ignis or Prompto. Episode Gladiolus will be released first, followed by Episode Ignis and Episode Prompto. It has yet to be confirmed whether Luna will be included in one of these planned DLC releases in the coming months.
