After announcing the three new "Fire Emblem" games during the Nintendo Direct presentation this week, Koei Tecmo revealed that the upcoming hack-and-slash game "Fire Emblem Warrior" will be released on both the new Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.

The "Fire Emblem Warriors" game was teased during the Nintendo Switch Presentation held on Jan. 12 with a trailer showing one of the three "Fire Emblem Awakening" protagonist Chrom. In the trailer, Chrom was seen in a middle of combat with a hoard of enemies using his signature blade.

The trailer also revealed that the "Fire Emblem" and "Dynasty Warriors" mashup game will come out sometime this fall. Earlier reports claimed that the game was intended to be released for Nintendo Switch, but new details now revealed that the game will also have a version playable from the new edition of the Nintendo 3DS.

However, those who are hoping to see the game on the old Nintendo 3DS edition may be disappointed to find out that it might not happen anytime soon.

Other new "Fire Emblem" games that were unveiled during the recent Nintendo Direct game include the new 3DS game titled "Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia." This game is inspired from the "Fire Emblem Gaiden," which was exclusively released in Japan in 1992.

The "Fire Emblem Heroes," on the other hand, will be released for free on iOS and Android devices on Feb. 2. It will reportedly feature several characters from different "Fire Emblem" titles and pit them against each other through the classic grid battles.

There will also be a real "Fire Emblem" game that will be released exclusively for the latest Nintendo Switch gaming system sometime in 2018. But details about the game are still unrevealed.

More details about the "Fire Emblem" franchise are expected to come out soon.
