'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location' updates: To be released later this year; Where will the game's setting be?
The indie point-and-click survival horror video game "Five Nights at Freddy's" has just spawned another game titled "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location." Created and published by Scott Cawthon, the new video game will be available later this year. A preview clip was released by Cawthon on which gamers and fans base some speculations about the plotline and setting of the new horror game.
The recently released teaser trailer for "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" was accompanied with eerie voices and noises in the background, promising an upcoming game full of "fear, panic, dread and terror." The video also teases about the possible context and environment of the "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location." It says that all those frightening and terrible emotions will be made felt "deep below ground where memories sleep, where anger is restless and where secrets do not keep."
In this regard, Design and Trend compiled an enumeration of its theories involving the game's location and story.
Given the hint via the trailer, the place of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" might well be underground should "deep below ground" be taken literally. Based on this, it can mean an underground staff work area for an establishment that works and runs actively from above. Considering the animatronics featured in the trailer clip, it can be an assumption that it is a circus that operates directly above the supposed underground work station for staff members.
There are also the odds of the establishment being an animatronics factory. Taking into account the seemingly clammy atmosphere of the surroundings, the theory might fit. In addition, the trailer features partitions and segments which give the idea that those are where the animatronics are made and built. The teaser appeared to even focus on the robots coming to life.
For the setting to be a mad scientist's hideout is another likelihood. This is where the sleeping memories and secrets might come in the bigger picture of the story arc. It might also be a kid-friendly eatery or perhaps a safety dugout.
In the meantime, "Five Nights at Freddy's" gamers will want to wait for more updates about the upcoming "Sister Location" game. Another version of the trailer might even be released sometime soon which will give fans more ideas to play with.
