'Flip or Flop' couple divorce news: Tarek opens up about failed marriage; Christina is single again

Tarek El Moussa has finally opened up about his ongoing divorce with Christina and addressed some of the rumors surrounding their split. Meanwhile, Christina has broken up with Gary Anderson to focus on herself and her kids first.

Tarek, who filed for divorce from estranged wife Christina, has finally opened up about why their marriage didn't work and what he feels about the news and rumors surrounding their ongoing separation.

During an interview with US Weekly, Tarek mentioned the same reasons Christina shared when pinpointing what caused the problems in their marriage. Noting that the estranged couple went through a miscarriage, IVF, and battling cancer in a short amount of time, "It took a toll on our marriage," Tarek said.

"We didn't fight, we just grew apart," Tarek later added.

Tarek also acknowledged that he and Christina will have each other in their lives for the rest of it because of their kids. So far, Tarek said that they haven't had a fight since the split and that they're very flexible when it comes to time with their kids.

Tarek also addressed the rumors surrounding their marriage. The "Flip or Flop" co-star said that he is not suicidal and that rumors that he verbally abused Christina are "absurd."

When asked about his soon-to-be-ex-wife dating their contractor, Anderson, Tarek said: "It bothered me [at first]. But she can live her life. I've totally moved on."

Meanwhile, Christina has reportedly split with Anderson.

"Christina is single and being in a relationship is the last thing on her mind. She is taking this time to focus on her children and herself," Christina's rep Cassandra Zebisch said in a statement.

It was also said that one of the reasons they broke up is because of the outside pressures brought upon by the El Moussa's very public divorce.
