'Flip or Flop' Tarek and Christina El Moussa latest divorce news: Tarek spotted dating mysterious blonde
Just days after his estranged wife stepped out with her new beau, Tarek El Moussa of the HGTV reality show "Flip or Flop" showed the public that he, too, is ready to move on.
E! News released exclusive photos of Tarek with an unidentified blonde woman taken on Thursday, Feb. 2. The couple was photographed arriving at a restaurant in Newport Beach, California at around 7:30 p.m., and a source claimed that they "looked comfortable together." The couple was later seen leaving the restaurant at around 9:15 p.m. in Tarek's Lamborghini.
Another source said that while Tarek is indeed seeing other people, the 35-year-old real estate agent currently has no one exclusive date.
Earlier this year, Tarek officially filed for divorce from his wife of seven years, Christina. Court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight revealed Tarek's request for joint legal and physical custody of their two children: Taylor, 6, and Brayden, 1. Tarek has also allegedly made a request for Christina to pay his attorney's fees, along with regular spousal support. The divorce petition has also asked the court to terminate its ability to award alimony to Christina.
The former couple released a joint statement in December citing "an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago" as the point when they decided to part ways.
Back in May last year, police were called to the El Moussas' Orange County home after an altercation between the former couple allegedly led to Tarek running away from home with a firearm. He later told officers that he only wanted to "blow off steam" and did not really intend to hurt himself. The former couple is believed to have been living separately since.
Christina has recently gone public with her relationship with "Flip or Flop" contractor Gary Anderson. The two of them were photographed earlier this month as they took a leisurely stroll, hand in hand, through Gary's upscale neighborhood of Yorba Linda.
Despite the separation, Tarek and Christina will continue working together on their show "Flip or Flop," which airs every Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on HGTV.
