'Game of Thrones' Season 7 air date, plot rumors, spoilers: Leaked scene of Davos and Tyrion confirms Jon Snow meeting Daenerys next season

The seventh season of HBO's hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones" is expected to air in mid-2017, but as early as now, rumors regarding the possible plotline of the new chapter are circulating online. Just recently, leaked photos allegedly taken on the set of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 reveal some of the fans' much-awaited scenario in the show. There are no specific details accompanying these photos, but the fans can easily connect the dots and figure out what will happen next.

Cinema Blend reported that the recently leaked photos fresh from the set of "Game of Thrones" show two well-distinguished characters in the series. Specifically, these characters are Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage). The pictures can be seen as a simple meeting of two characters from opposite sides of the world, but this also suggests a confirmation of the fans' highly anticipated plot development: the two main players of the series, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), building an alliance to invade the entire Westeros.

To note, Davos is known to have pledged his oath to Jon Snow, who now hold the title as the King of the North. Tyrion, on the other hand, now serves Daenerys as the Hand of the Queen. The meeting of Tyrion and Davos would suggest that their respective masters are going to cross each other's paths as well.

Jon Snow finally meeting Daenerys is a huge development for many fans, especially after the shocking revelation about Jon's parentage in the Season 6 finale. It was revealed that Jon is actually Lyanna Stark's son, making him Ned Stark's nephew. Digging deeper, there is a possibility that Jon is the result of Lyanna's affair with Rhaegar Targaryen, which makes Daenerys his aunt.

Meanwhile, Yibada also reported that Robert Baratheon's bastard son, Gendry, will make a comeback via the seventh season of "Game of Thrones." Leaked images reveal that Gendry will join Davos, although not much has been known about his specific role.
