Things are not looking good for some of the inhabitants of Westeros in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" season 7.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, the new King of the North that famously came back to life in season 6, previewed the new season, saying that it will start off "bleak" and "dark."

"I think it's going to get very bleak before if there is a happy ending," the actor said, adding that there will be tough times before Jon or anyone else gets any sort of victory or redemptive moment.

"I think it's going to get very dark before it gets better," he added. "I think what we might see this season is those White Walkers and that Army of the Dead really come into force."

But while Harington has admittedly not read the scripts for season 7 just yet, his "Game of Thrones" co-star Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, has. The young actress recently took to social media with a series of tweets expressing her shock at the season 7 storyline and advised viewers to prepare themselves for the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" alum Natalie Dormer, whose Margaery Tyrell perished at the wildfire explosion set by Cersei (Lena Headey) in the season 6 finale, recently spoke to Elle about her years playing the fierce character in the popular HBO series.

According to the actress, she is thankful that the role elevated her profile.

When asked about what she misses the least about "Game of Thrones," though, Dormer replied, "All the pins stuck in my head from the wig."

"I would set off a metal detector," she explained, adding that she had to wear the wig from early morning to evening on some shooting days.

"I won't miss all the pins scratching against my scalp," she said.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 will debut sometime in summer 2017.
