The HBO series based on George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel will be airing its second to the last season this year, and emotions that come with ending a series are starting to be felt by the members of the cast. Meanwhile, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) will be reunited with an old friend in season 7.

"Game of Thrones" will soon be airing its second to the last season, which means that the show is almost coming to a close. Storylines of the series' favored characters, such as Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), and Cersei (Lena Headey), will soon converge.

Similar to the fans of "Game of Thrones," the cast of the HBO series admitted that they, too, feel the tension of the show coming to an end.

Lian Cunningham, who plays Ser Davos in "Game of Thrones," shared with Mashable, "I know we're all feeling it on set. You guys have two more, we have one more, we're one ahead of you — and we're now in the position where it must be like trying to get off drugs. We're easing ourselves off drugs gently, and the drug is this show."

Even Jacob Anderson, who portrays Grey Worm, shared that "things are coming to a close," and knowing this puts a lot of pressure on them.

Without giving too much of season 7's plot away, Anderson teased that: "it's going to be a crazy season. ... They're gonna take it even further this time. People have loyalties that they have to examine."

Meanwhile, Arya might be reuniting with an old friend in season 7.

Watchers on the Wall reported that Williams was seen in Calgary, Canada, where scenes with the dire wolves in "Game of Thrones" are being filmed. Around the same time that Williams was in Calgary, Instinct Animals For Film posted photos on their Instagram account featuring two wolves with the caption, "Ready to work."

One of those wolves is actually Jon Snow's Ghost, while the other one is suspected to be Arya's Nymeria, whom she will reunite with in season 7. Williams was said to have posted photos of the wolf on her Twitter account, but the post has been taken down.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 is expected to premiere before the end of 2017.
