A surprising number of "Game of Thrones" cast members have been spotted in Seville, Spain, where they are allegedly going to film a scene set in the Dragonpit in King's Landing.

Watchers on the Wall has been keeping "Game of Thrones" fans updated on the arrival of main cast members on the Andalusian capital. According to the "Game of Thrones" community blog, several stars of the award-winning HBO fantasy drama have been spotted in and around Seville. These include Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Liam Cunningham, Peter Dinklage, Nathalie Emmanuel, Conleth Hill and Alfie Allen.

Recent fan photos also confirmed that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jerome Flynn, Gwendoline Christie, Daniel Portman, Pilou Asbæk and Iain Glen are in Seville.

The fan blog said that the "Game of Thrones" cast members are in the area to film scenes related to the Dragonpit, the huge building that sits atop Rhaenys' Hill in King's Landing. The Dragonpit was used by the Targaryens as a dragon nursery.

According to Watchers on the Wall, Daenerys (Clarke) and her army, which set sail from Meereen at the end of season 6, are heading towards this location. Aside from Daenerys and her entourage, Jon Snow (Harington) and some of his closest allies are said to join Daenerys there, as will Cersei (Lena Headey) and her forces. This has led to speculation that the Dragonpit will be the venue for what is sure to be an epic showdown between the new Queen of Westeros and the joined forces of Targaryen and (secret) Targaryen.

Interestingly, it appears that one of the show's oddest pairings — the new Hand Qyburn (Anton Lesser), and his Frankenstein-ish creation Ser Robert Strong/The Mountain (Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson), will also be involved in this alleged season 7 scene. Watchers on the Wall said that both Lesser and Björnsson are traveling to Seville to film in the Itálica's amphitheater and at Seville's Royal Shipyards along with the other cast member.

To make things even more exciting, Rory McCann, who plays The Mountain's aggrieved little brother Sandor Clegane/The Hound, was recently photographed hanging out with the rest of the cast.

All in all, at least 17 cast members are expected to be involved in the upcoming Dragonpit scenes, making it the biggest gathering of main characters since possibly the show's first season. The characters include Daenerys, Jon, Queen Cersei, Ser Jaime Lannister (Coster-Waldau), Tyrion Lannister (Dinklage), Ser Davos Seaworth (Cunningham), Ser Jorah Mormont (Glen), Missandei (Emmanuel), Varys (Hill), Theon Greyjoy (Allen), Ser Bronn of the Blackwater (Flynn), Podrick Payne (Portman), Brienne of Tarth (Christie), The Hound (McCann), Qyburn (Lesser), The Mountain (Björnsson), and Euron Greyjoy (Asbæk).

These are only the actors and actresses who have been spotted in Seville. There could be more involved in the Dragonpit scenes.

Meanwhile, photos taken from the set of "Game of Thrones" season 7 all but confirmed that Theon will be killed by his villainous uncle, Euron. In the scene, which took place on a seaside set, Euron was seen beating up and possibly even stabbing a bloodied Theon, who fell to the ground, his face and mouth gushing blood.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 will debut on HBO in 2017.
