In the past few weeks, fans of HBO's TV adaptation of George R.R. Martin's well-loved "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels have been treated to a number of spoilers, particularly on the alliances formed in season 7 of the show. Recently, set photos revealed a battle between Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) and his uncle, Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk).

Enthusiastic fans and paparazzi were able to snap a few photos of the cast and crew of "Game of Thrones" filming in Spain. TMZ recently released photos of Allen and Asbæk filming their battle scene on a beach. Though the first few photos showed Allen taking a beating, it seems like the younger Greyjoy won't allow himself to be defeated.

Along with the Greyjoys was a horde of soldiers, most likely from Euron's camp. Though a good number of them were at the scene, no one interfered in their clash.

The last photos revealed a triumphant and bloody Theon standing over Euron's body. The latter seemed like he wasn't getting up anytime soon; hence, one soldier approached the former and tried to subdue him. Based on the leaked photos, one can't really tell if Euron was just knocked out cold or was dead.

To note, Euron is Theon and Yara Greyjoy's (Gemma Whalen) uncle, who claimed the Iron Islands. He killed the former king, Balon Greyjoy (Patrick Malahide), in the previous season, and attempted to kill his niece and nephew. To escape death, the Greyjoys set sail towards the mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), and pledged their allegiance. They offered their fleet, and together they set sail for Westeros.

As previously reported, Theon will be having a lot of confrontations in the upcoming season. After how many seasons, he will face the new king of the North, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington). Since he took over Winterfell and attempted to kill the younger Stark brothers, his meeting with Jon wpn't be a tear-jerking reunion. Leaked photos revealed Jon grabbing Theon by the collar and appeared to be threatening him.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 will return to HBO in the summer of 2017.
