'General Hospital' spoilers, update: Carly leaves town; Franco finds out identity of Liz's rapist
"General Hospital" is opening the week of Nov. 14 with lots of surprises and sadness. Things will pick up at the funeral service for Morgan (Bryan Craig). His loved ones and friends will quietly gather together but it will be messed up by Sonny's (Maurice Benard) suicide attempt in front of everyone.
According to spoilers, Sonny will confess that he is to be blamed for his son's death. He will then pull out a gun and try to kill himself. Fortunately, Jason (Billy Miller) will save him from himself and try to calm him down. Jason has been doing everything in his power to help Sonny get justice for Morgan.
He is convinced that Morgan's death is not Sonny's fault so he has been investigating the bombing tragedy with Sam (Kelly Monaco). Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright) will be surprised by Sonny's suicidal attempt. But since she is trying to move on and grieve on her own, she will not try to comfort him.
Instead, she will be seeking comfort from Jax (Ingo Rademacher) who arrived in Port Charles in time for the funeral. It's also said that Carly will be flying to Australia with him and their daughter Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Reports reveal that Carly's departure is to accommodate her break from the soap opera whic she will use to spend time with her family.
Meanwhile, spoilers say that Franco (Roger Howarth) will find out the identity of Liz's (Rebecca Herbst) rapist who took advantage of her while she was still in high school. He is in town and knowing Franco, he will deal with the criminal on his own. But Liz will stop him and tell him that she wants to stand up for herself. Reports reveal that the rapist, whose name is Tom, will be played by Don Harvey. The role was previously played by James Sloyan.
