'Ghost Recon Wildlands' latest news and update: Bolivia map has 24 regions, 11 ecosystems, 26 bosses
Ubisoft is reiterating the importance of the open-world setting of "Ghost Recon Wildlands" and so it has shown a complete map of Bolivia. The gameplay involves teaming up with other players to get the mission accomplished.
"Ghost Recon Wildlands" is said to be the grandest title Ubisoft has to offer and so gamers are more than excited to see what it is capable of. The title involves both land and air navigation, which is depicted by the fact that the game has a gigantic map, most probably bigger that the ones from "Assassin's Creed." In fact, the Bolivia map may be the biggest in the gaming world, according to BitBag.
The Bolivia map of "Ghost Recon Wildlands" has a whopping 24 regions and 11 ecosystems. This means that players will get to experience a more diverse open-world setting, where they can explore better the forests and deserts of the country. Ubisoft may have been successful in its effort to provide a complex open world that has not been achieved by any developers at this time.
"We have a full agenda for the NPCs, so they really live in the world," said game art director Benoit Martinez in an interview with Polygon. "They go to bed at night. They get up. They go to work. Whether or not you interact with them or not, they live their own life."
"This game is something we've dreamt about for a very, very long time," he added.
The giant map also includes 26 bosses that the players will have to face. These fearsome enemies are located throughout the map, and are said to be comparable to the bosses of "The Division." This means, players can locate the enemies by just exploring the map, while some can fight them by following the main storyline.
Nevertheless, it is inevitable that players will encounter the bosses in the open-world setting of "Ghost Recon Wildlands" and it is highly expected that the nasty enemies can respawn at a specific interval.
