'God of War' release date, news, update: PS4 release expected in Fall 2017; Kratos and son relationship to have emotional impact to players

Santa Monica Studios has been releasing trailer videos and details for their upcoming game title, "God of War," for the past few months, but there is still no exact release date set for the latest installment in the franchise. If the latest reports are correct, then the fans can expect the game to arrive in Fall 2017. The game studio still has a long way to go in further developing "God of War," but there are now details regarding the game's storyline.

The gamers may already be used to the intense and action-packed sequences in the previous "God of War" titles, but in the next one, they might feel a little different due to the new emotional aspect introduced In the game's plot. Particularly, the emotional impact that is expected to hit the players will involve the relationship of the series' main hero, Kratos, and his son. The previous installments of "God of War" did not introduce Kratos' son, but this time around, the fans may see a different side of the ferocious warrior.

As reported by Gamepur, "God of War" game director Cory Balrog teased that the upcoming game title will have a truly emotional impact on the fans. The players may see a softer side of Kratos by his bonding with his son as they travel the entire cosmos.
