Google Android 7.0 Nougat release date update: HTC One A9, One M8, One M9 and HTC 10 to get new OS update with other makers' devices?
Following the announcement of Android N's official name, Android Nougat, many people are wondering which devices are going to get the first update. According to the latest report, HTC devices are going to be one of the several handsets that will get the update of Android Nougat once the operating system hits the market.
Devices expected to be included are HTC One A9, One M9 and HTC 10. The Taiwanese consumer electronics company has confirmed that these devices will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update. Some of the HTC fans are disappointed that HTC One M8 is said to be excluded from the list of devices to get the new operating system.
According to recent reports, HTC has confirmed that HTC One A9, HTC One M9 and HTC 10 will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update. According to many reports, HTC One M8 will not get the Android 7 update.
Other makers that recently gotten the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow update have yet to confirm if these devices will also get the new Android software. Sony's Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Sony Xperia Z2, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z2 Tablet and Xperia Z3 have all just received the new Marshmallow update.
There are also several Samsung devices that will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update including Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Active, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Tab S2.
Meanwhile, HTC is said to be making two new Google Nexus devices that are expected to be released with pre-installed Android 7.0 Nougat.
The new Google OS has some amazing features that will certainly compete with Apple's new iOS 10.
