Google Pixel 3 Chromebook release date, news, rumors: Google's flagship laptop to in hybrid Andromeda OS, to be released early 2017?

People are now excited for the much anticipated next iteration of the Pixel Chromebook. The Pixel 3 Chromebook is expected to arrive in the early months of 2017, but the hype for Google's next big device is getting real as early as now. One of the reasons the tech enthusiasts are stoked about the Pixel 3 is due to the reported hybrid operating system that will run the new Chromebook.

Know Your Mobile reported that the Pixel 3 Chromebook will be pre-installed with the all-new hybrid Andromeda OS. It is said to be Google's first ever mash-up of Android mobile OS and Chrome OS. According to the unnamed sources of Android Police, Google has assigned different teams of experts to develop the combined Chrome OS and Android OS. The collaboration has been going on for several years now, and the outcome of this might be groundbreaking if one would consider the amount of time and effort given to the Andromeda OS.

Android Police also claims that the next Chromebook might not be called as such and be known instead as plainly the Pixel 3. This is due to Google's effort to innovate the Chromebook by showcasing Android applications to the device. Therefore, the new Chromebook might be introduced as an all-new device.

The new features coming out of the two Google OS's combination excite the followers of Google Chromebook, but aside from this, there are a lot to look forward to regarding the device's core and physical specifications. According to iTech Post, the Pixel 3 Chromebook may sport a 12.3-inch display but having an ultra-thin design. It is also possible that Google will get more innovative with a detachable keyboard design to allow the next Chromebook to go in tablet mode. It may boast either an Intel M3 or i5 processor with random-access memory (RAM) ranging from 8 to 16 GB. Its internal storage capacity may go up to 128 GB.

Moreover, the Pixel 3 Chromebook is expected to have two USB Type- ports and a fingerprint scanner. It will get the traditional 3. 5mm headphone jack, along with built-in sensors, stylus support, four microphone jacks and stereo speakers.
