Google Pixel XL was launched with people talking about its impressive specs. Now that it is being exploited by the users, news emerged that Google Pixel and Pixel XL are having issues with their speakers.

Users took it to Reddit to report that the handsets' speakers are emitting a somewhat static sound when they increase the volume of it. The first user to report such issue is identified as Mark Buckman, who has the username "badmark."

"4 Pixel XLs and my wife's standard Pixel, all have static distortion at the highest three levels of volumes," he wrote. "I would suggest checking to see if your device exhibits this issue and contact Google if such."

He added that he already had his device replaced a number of times, but the handset still has audio problems. The user proved this by publishing a video on YouTube so that fellow users can verify if they are also experiencing the same problems.

At this time of writing, Buckman's Reddit page is being flooded with hundreds of users claiming to have observed the same issues. Users are advised to restart their devices and put it on safe mode by long-pressing the power button.

The static distortion should disappear when it is caused by an app. However, when the problem still persists, then it is best to contact Google.

The search engine company may want to immediately address the issue if they do not want to suffer like Samsung in the recent Note 7 fiasco. Google Pixel XL was even compared with iPhone 7 and some tech enthusiasts believe that the former is a worthy choice.

Both devices are on par in taking photos as they both excel in enhancing what has been snapped. Tech enthusiasts say that Pixel XL exhibits outstanding camera specs and is even the best one among the recent smartphone models.

Google has not yet released any statement about the issue.
