GoPro Hero 5 release date, specs news 2016: New leaked details revealed camera's voice command feature
For the last several months, GoPro's next generation action camera, the Hero 5, has been a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the internet. Despite the company's silence with regard to the next GoPro action camera, leaks about its specs and features have continued to emerge online. According to the latest report, a new leak has surfaced suggesting that GoPro Hero 5 will come out with voice controls.
According to a report by The Verge, the rumored GoPro camera will arrive in the market with voice control feature. If rumors prove to be true, users can use the designated voice commands to record videos, capture images, highlight video clips and many more. It will definitely give owners more control of the device, which will result in better user experience.
In a report by Value Walk, several voice commands include "GoPro turn on" to power on the action camera, "GoPro start video" to start capturing a video, "GoPro Highlight" to add a highlight tag to a video, "GoPro stop video" to finish the capture, "GoPro turn off" to power off the device and many more voice commands.
Other features of the device include GPS system, longer battery life and a USB Type-C connector. Apparently, GoPro is finally scrapping the Mini USB port in favor of the 24-pin reversible-plug connector. According to the publication, the device will definitely support 4K recording at60 fps.
Meanwhile, Mirrorless Rumors recently posted a photo of the alleged GoPro Hero 5 Black on their website. The image came along with the camera's specs. According to the leaked details, the device will carry an internal mono microphone for its audio and a removable Li-ion or Li-Polymer battery.
As of the moment, GoPro has yet to provide concrete details with regard to the development of the new GoPro Hero 5.
