'Grimm' Season 4 Premiere Date: Expect More Horrifying Wessens and Supernatural Encounters
The awesomely horrible and otherworldly supernatural TV drama series "Grimm" comes back for Season 4 this Friday, Oct. 24.
At the end of last season, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) had a steamy encounter with Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee). Despite their shared intimacy, Nick kept the grimness of his secret Grimm life. Good for him to stick to his guns since their sexual encounter happened due to Adalind's deceptions anyway.
Nick enters Season 4 missing his Grimm prowess. This paves the way for Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni), who is similarly descended from Grimm lineage, to vicariously serve as Nick's eyes in discovering and exposing the supernatural denizens that plague Portland.
Nick's predicament at being un-Grimmed is compounded by his girlfriend Juliette's fury. Juliette (Bitse Tulloch) still hasn't gotten over Nick's relationship with Adalind and there's hell to pay, which is totally appropriate – from a supernatural perspective, that is.
New terrifying Wessens are also coming up. There's the Gedachtnis Esser, similar to an octopus, but one that can steal someone else's identity and memory. This sounds similar to what slimy computer identity thieves do—only worse.
There is also the Schinderdiv, a demon monster with long fangs sprouting out near the jaw. Then there is Heftigauroch, which is similar to a raging bull that changes under provocation. There's also the non-Wessen Golem, a 10-foot clay monster originating from Jewish religious folklore.
Also be on the lookout for developments related to Captain Reynard's (Sasha Roiz) dying. Will he or won't he kick off this earthly dimension? Catch the answer and the supernatural action when Grimm premieres this Sunday on NBC.
